Listed Building record MDO14541 - Batson's Farmhouse, Trent

Late seventeenth century farmhouse, with dressed stone walls, with Ham stone dressings. Double Roman-tile roof with stone gable-copings and brick stacks at gable ends.

‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (33) Batson Farm, house 50 yards N.W. of (32), retains four original three-light windows with labels. Inside the building are some original moulded ceiling-beams with ornamental stops.’
