Summary
Former coffee tavern, now private house. Dated GB 1796 on a stone in a brick surround, though the house probably has an earlier core. Rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends and brick chimney stacks. Nineteenth century wooden sign-board with Coffee Tavern in capitals affixed to front wall.
