‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (7) House, on the W. side of the road, 90 yards N.W. of the church, was built early in the 18th century. The E. front is of roughly coursed dressed stone, the others are of rubble. The windows retain original flush frames.’
