Numbers 23 and 24 together form two attached cottages. Eighteenth century with twentieth century refenestration. Shallow rubble-stone walls. Thatch roof, with gable end to street.

Full Description

Two attached cottages. C18 with C20 refenestration. Shallow rubble-stone walls. Thatch roof, with gable end to street. C19 brick stacks at right hand gable, and at former gable end, now ridge. I½ storeys, 2 windows and 2 further C20 windows in the attached north range. 2-light wooden casements C20 (no 23). Same with glazing-bars (no 24). Very small rectangular light right of main window. Two single light casements with glazing bars on gable end. C20. Front doors: no 23, plank, C20 with a shallow wooden porch, with gabled canopy. No 24: plank, C19, with a single light, wooden lintel over.

'(14) House, two tenements, on the corner 90 yards W. of (13), is L-shaped in plan with gabled S.E. wing. It retains some original three-light wood-framed windows.'
