Summary

A bowl barrow 120m east of White Hill Wood. The barrow has a mound composed of earth, chalk and flint with a maximum diameter of 25m and a maximum height of about one metre. An infilled quarry ditch surrounds the mound, surviving as a buried feature. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs.

Bowl barrow, 70ft. in diam and 4ft. high. <3>

A grass covered ditchless bowl barrow, with a slight hollow in the centre. Diameter 20.0m, height 1.5m. <4>

A Bronze Age bowl barrow lying at SY5973688895. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <7> and is 16m across. It was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Reduced and spread by ploughing. 1.1m high, 21.0m diameter. No trace of hollow in top mentioned by OS in 1955. Barrow appears as a prominent rise in a newly ploughed field. The barrow is ploughed over. 1/3/C
