Full Description
Five bowl barrows on arable land. D is large, 30 paces in diameter and 7 ft high. The other four barrows are from 12 to 19 paces in diameter, and from 6ins to 3 ft high. <2>
Bowl barrow, one of five, 28ft. In diam and 9ins. high. <3>
Five ditchless bowl barrows on arable land:-
A. Diameter 22.0m, height 1.0m.
B. Diameter 14.0m, height 0.4m.
C. Diameter 19.0m, height 0.5m.
D. Diameter 30.0m, height 2.0m.
E. Diameter 11.0m, height 0.4m.
Barrows D and E are at present wholly or partly grass covered; the others have recently been cleared of crops. <4>
A Bronze Age bowl barrow lying at SY5935189324. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <6-7> and is 13m across. It was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Reduced and spread by ploughing 13.0m in diameter and 0.1m high. Visible as a faint swelling not easily distinguishable from its surroundings. Site newly ploughed when visited. 7/6/E
