Summary

Sixteenth or seventeenth century barn at Churchill's Farm, in ashlar, coursed rubble and clunch with stone slate roofs. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

Full Description

'(12) Barn (86711462), at Churchill's Farm, with walls of ashlar, coursed rubble and clunch, and with stone-slated roofs, is of the 17th century. The walls have ashlar buttresses generally of two and of three stages, with chamfered plinths and weathered offsets. The S. end has two-stage diagonal corner buttresses and, at the centre of the gable, a square-set buttress of five stages.' (1)
