Summary

Dating from the 17th century it is a two-storyed house with rubble walls and a modern roof, until 1926 it was a thatched roof. The record for this monument has been enhanced with support from Wessex Water.

Full Description

'(12) House (86471686), of two storeys, has rubble walls and a modern roof ; until 1926 it was thatched. The building dates from the 17th century and has a class-T plan. The N. front is symmetrical and of three bays, with 19th-century wooden casement windows. Inside, the W. ground-floor room has a four-panel ceiling with deeply chamfered intersecting beams.' [1]
