Monument record MDO1386 - Bowl barrow, one of the Winterbourne Poor Lot barrow group, Littlebredy

Two bowl barrows on arable ground. 'A' - Diameter 28 paces, height 5ft. 'B' - Diameter 30 paces, height 4ft. <3>

Three bowl barrows (part of a large group - see also SY 59 SE 67) north of Littlebredy church (see illust). … 'B' - Littlebredy 9k. Diameter 79 ft, height 5ft. <4>

Two bowl barrows under the plough, with no visible ditches. Barrow 'A' is very flinty on top but otherwise both 'A' and 'B' are similar with diameters of 28.0m and heights of 1.7m. <5>

SY 589898. Group of round barrows south of Winterbourne Poor Lot. Scheduled. <8>

A Bronze Age bowl barrow lying at SY5886789864. The barrow is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs <10-11> and is 27m across with an outer ditch. It was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Dimensions as above, but due to it being located on an E facing slope it is 1.7m high on the W but only 1.2m high on the E. This barrow has been protected from further damage by the provision of marker posts around the barrow together with SDR 116. This has created a rectangular unploughed grass covered zone in a field that had been ploughed and was under grass when visited. 1/3/B
