Full Description

Two bowl barrows on arable ground. 'A' - Diameter 28 paces, height 5ft. 'B' - Diameter 30 paces, height 4ft. <3>

Three bowl barrows (part of a large group - see also SY 59 SE 67) north of Littlebredy church (see illust). … 'C' - Littlebredy 9i. Diameter 47 ft, height 41/2 ft. <4>

Two bowl barrows under the plough, with no visible ditches. Barrow 'A' is very flinty on top but otherwise both 'A' and 'B' are similar with diameters of 28.0m and heights of 1.7m. <5>

Three bowl barrows listed on arable.
'A' - SY 58838990 Littlebredy 14.
'B' - SY 58878986 Littlebrady 13. Both as Authy 2.
'C' - SY 58868995 Littlebredy 12. Diameter 16 paces, height 11/2 ft. (This is probably barrow Littlebredy 9i, although the NGR and height are different). <6>

SY 589898. Group of round barrows south of Winterbourne Poor Lot. Scheduled. <8>

A Bronze Age bowl barrow lying at SY5882489938. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <10> and is 14m across. It was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

As above but now reduced by ploughing, now 0.25m high, 21.0m diameter composed of darker soil than the surrounding field with numerous large flints present. No visible ditch. Visible as a low rise in a field newly ploughed and sown in grass. 1/4/D
