Full Description
Site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow on the ridge to the south of Black Down. The barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. {1}
One of 11, 35ft. in diam and 1ft. high (RCHM).

‘(9) Barrows, forming a group of eleven, are ½ to ¾ m. N. of the church. … (g), 15 yards S.E. of (f), is 35 ft. in diam. and 1 ft. high.’

Reduced and spread since the RCHM survey. The diameter unsurveyable and the height 0.1m. Situated on a N facing slope. Seen as a vague swelling of darker soil, almost ploughed out. Newly ploughed and sown with grass when visited. 1/6/E
