Summary

House, now shop, office and flats, built about 1500 and extensively altered and added to in seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Built of brick and rubble, some parts roughcast. Roof tiled with some stone slate verges, gabled and half-hipped. There are a number of irregularly positioned brick stacks. At the south end of the east wing are the remains of a large chimney in squared greensand. To the north of the same wing is a chimney of probably eighteenth century origin. The ground floor has double doors under a segmental arch to the left, a three light nineteenth century shop front, another door and a fixed three light window.

House, now the premises of PD and CJ Mount (formerly Bere Regis Bus Office). Ca.1500, but extensively altered from the C17th-C20th. Originally an open hall with an East cross-wing. <1-2>
