Summary

A lime kiln recorded as ‘limekiln’ on the second edition (1900-1902) Ordnance Survey map. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most likely to be late nineteenth century. The site was visited in 1992-93 by Peter Stanier, who could find no trace of the kiln structure. The digital Ordnance Survey map available in 2006 shows a pit at this location, but no structure is depicted.
