Summary

A circular enclosure was noted on air photos measuring up to 160 feet in diameter and overlain by broad ridge and furrow. A ground visit in 1977 revealed no trace of the feature and the ridge and furrow has been almost completely ploughed out.

Full Description

(ST 61690931) Possible circular enclosure 160 feet in diameter, overlaid by broad rig. Visible on air photographs as soil marks on heavily ploughed fields. <1>

No ground detail is visible of the circular enclosure cropmark. The rig and furrow has been almost completely ploughed out. The field, which is on level ground, is at present under pasture. <2>
