Full Description

Evaluation trenching revealed 3 drainage gullies dug to take water away from the north west facing slope of the site. One of these gullies was in the form of 4 intercutting gullies, two of which were stone lined. These were interpreted as representing re-cutting of the same gully. Of the remaining 2 gullies, one other was also stone lined. (1).
