Full Description
Earthworks visible on an aerial photographs taken by Francesca Radcliffe on 1 June 1991. (1).
An extensive system of medieval strip lynchets with assoicated ridge and furrow cultivation is visible as earthworks on an aerial photographs {2-3} to the south and west of Langton Herring. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
