Summary

A baptist chapel built in 1653 and re-built in 1850. The building has a roughcast front and slate roof. A banner painted across the front says 'Baptist Church 1653'.

‘Although the church claims to have been founded in 1653, the Baptist chapel itself only dates to the 18th century. Rendered walls and hipped, slate, roof. The south-west wall has two tiers of round-arched windows sparated by a platband.’
