Summary

A grist mill built in the early nineteenth century. The building has walls of stone rubble with limewash, and a gabled roof of Welsh slate. The whater wheel is on the east side and Hembury Mill Cottage is attached to the west side, with outshuts on the north and south. The mill machinery, including millstones, grain bins and sack hoists, is reported to be intact.
