Full Description
Bronze Age bell barrow forming part of the Winterbourne Poor Lot Barrow Group. The site is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. {1}
Barrow, between 400ft. and 500ft. contours on the E. part of Black Down. One of twenty. 77ft. in diam and 5ft. high. It appears to have a raised berm. {2}

Mound now presents an even profile, no visible berm, reduced and spread by ploughing 0.9m high and 27.0m in diameter. The mound is now divided in two by an E-W fence line across its centre. On the N side the mound has been ploughed out and covered with a new growth of grass. On its S side it had been planted in kale and there was no trace of a berm. 1/4/D
