Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow to the west of Black Down, one of a loose scatter of barrows and associated monuments. Ordnance Survey field investigation in 1954 recorded it as a flinty and stubble covered mound 15 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high, with no visible surrounding ditch.

B. A bowl barrow, flinty and stubble covered, with no visible ditch. Diameter 15.0m, height 0.4m. <4>

A bowl barrow, one of a loose scatter of barrows (see SY 59 SE 48 and associated monuments). Listed by RCHME as Kingston Russell 6b and by Grinsell as Kingston Russell 11, Ordnance Survey field investigation in 1954 recorded it as a flinty and stubble covered mound 15 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high, with no visible surrounding ditch. <3-5>

A Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Black Down. <7-9>

As above but reduced by ploughing, 0.9m high, with faint encircling depression possibly the remains of a ditch. The barrow is in a regularly ploughed field of ley pasture. 1/3/C
