Stone rubble wall with capping. Said to have been built with fragments of stonework brought from the site of Shaftesbury Abbey.

Full Description

Barton Hill House is mainly late C19th, although the stalls on the east side may be earlier C19th. <2>

The garden wall contains many fragments of Medieval stonework brought from the Abbey after its disolution, hence its listing as a grade 2 wall. <3-4>
