Summary

The Cedars is a late eighteenth century or early nineteenth century two storied brick building with an ashlar front and a tile roof. A flight of 6 steps flanked by an iron handrail terminating in a scroll leads up to central doorway. Incorporated in the front are carved stone bosses of medieval origin. At the north-east end of the L-shaped block is Number 5, a lower two storey wing of stone rubble with a tile roof and hipped gable.
