Summary

Cottage hospital of 1871-4, designed by Architect J B Corby in the gothic style, of ashlar with a tiled roof. An operating theatre was added in 1907 and new wards (designed by Architect Marshall Arnott Sissons) in 1930. An outpatients department opened in 1938.

Cottage hospital of 1871-4 by J B Corby. An operating theatre was added in 1907 and new wards in 1930. An outpatients department opened in 1938. The original building was of two-storeys and stone built.
