Summary

A house built in the eighteenth cetury, with a front added in the nineteenth century. The walls of the building are covered in stucco, and it has a slate roof.

Full Description

18th century, with a mid-l9th century front. Stucco. Pitched slate roof. Red brick stack. Two storeys. Parapet. Rusticated quoins. Horizontally rusticated ground floor, with continuous entablature covering passage entrance with fanlight in deep reveals and good C19 shopfront with slender mullions and ornamental spandrels to windows. 1st floor has two bipartite sashes in plain raised surrounds. Rear has two storey red brick extension with half-hipped corrugated iron roof and 1 range of casements with glazing bars. Further one storey extensions with pitched slate roofs, stone slates above eaves. Nos 68 to 76 (even) form a group. Grade 2. (1)
