Full Description
One of four houses (Nos. 48-56) linked by one-storey porches, on the west side of West Bay Road, which form part of a planned development called 'Portville', developed by Samuel Gundry junior, dated 1837. No.54 & 56 is a two-storey stucco-fronted house with low-pitched slate roof with wide eaves on shaped brackets with pendant balls. The front has a giant Doric pilastrade with segmental relieving arches. (1)
