Wooden stocks with iron fittings, thought to be of eighteenth-century date. Some of the wood has been renewed.

Full Description

The four-hole wooden stocks depicted <1> 16.0m due south of St Lawrences Church, Holwell, are at present being restored, and will be returned to the original position in early 1978. The stocks were repaired about 40 years ago <3.1>, now only the iron strapping and padlock clasp appear to be of early date. <3>
