Full Description
Late 18th or early 19th century two-storey red brick house. It has round-headed windows in brick wall-arches with round heads. Parapet wall with stucco pilasters and sunk stucco panels. It has a shop front in the west end, probably inserted in the mid 19th century. The elaborate shop front has moulded pilasters with capitals incorporating flowers, animals and birds, foliated cast iron mullions to the windows. The fascia boards have foliated scrollwork. The shopfront was apparently built for a tailor in 1845 and has always been a local curiosity. (1)
