No. 107 South Street (together with Nos. 109a and 109 South Street) form an example of a late 18th/early 19th century terrace of workers' housing of vernacular appearance and with irregular plans <1>. It is a red brick house with a slate roof, of two storeys and attic.

Terrace. Late 18th or early 19th century fronts, but in the main, many years older. Red brick. Nos 115 & 117 (Manchester Place) stone. Old slate roofs. 2 storeys and attics. Some brick modillion eaves cornices. Attic dormers. No 109 has small bowed shop window. Some casements with lead glazing bars in rear. <5>
