Summary
A house in an area laid out by Samuel and William Downe between 1792 and 1795, and re-fronted around the middle of the nineteenth century, and modern shopfronts have since been inserted. The building has walls covered in stucco and a hipped slate roof with red brick chimney stack. A plaque on the building has the inscription 'Downes Street'.
