Full Description

(Centred at SY 60759330). "Lynchets, on a south-east slope .. south of (SY 69 SW 3) form three terraces from 22 to 32 yards wide".<2>

(SY60659330) on the north-west side of the valley are pronounced lynchets, the terraces 6.0 to 30.0 metres wide, and the lynchets from 1.0 to 2.0 metres high. On the opposite, south-east side of the valley, is a single terrace utilized as a trackway, while in the extreme south centred at SY60579313; are a number of very low and barely developed strip lynchets. Although adjoining an Iron Age/Romano British system, these particular lynchets appear to be of medieval type. See also RAF air photographs CPE/UK2431/4143-4. <2>
