Full Description
"Myrtle House,[…] has been refronted on the 18th century. Two of the fireplaces are original." (1)
Myrtle House is a two-storey detached house of possible 17th century date, refronted in the 18th century. It has coursed, dressed stone walls and thatched roof, with stone gable-copings and level-kneelers, and brick stacks at each gable-end. Three windows, of 3-light wooden casements with glazing-bars, and wooden cills. Front door at centre with wooden canopy on brackets. The house has been extended at right hand end. The rear wing is of rubble stone with a thatch roof.
