Summary

Detached former farmhouse thought to have been built in the 17th century, though with much 20th-century alteration. The building has rubble stone walls, a thatched roof with brick chimney stacks, and a thatched porch canopy on posts. A former semi-circular bread oven with stone slab roof, projects out at left hand and is 17th century in date.

Full Description

Detached former farmhouse of c. 17th century date with much 20th century alteration. It has rubble stone walls, a thatch roof (half-hipped at left hand and gabled at right hand) and brick stacks at ridge, left of centre and right hand gable and a thatch porch canopy on posts. A former semi-circular bread oven with stone slab roof, projects out at left hand and is 17th century in date.

Described by the Royal Commission as "Cottage […], has been extended to the E. There is a projecting oven of rubble (1).
