Full Description

Two storeyed mill building of at least four bays with a narrow rectangular plan, part obscured by mid-20th century sheds. The building is of Hamstone and has flat-headed windows. Built parallel to stream, possibly with a transverse internal wheel chamber. The two-storeyed house attached to north-west end of mill is possibly of early 18th century date, with several later phases. The larger late 20th century shed at the entrance is probably on the footprint of the former mill building. Intact pond immediately above mill and the tailrace is culverted beneath the yard. <4>
