Full Description
Up Cerne Manor House was built or rebuilt by Sir Robert Mellor (d 1624) early in the 17th century, and incorporates some re-used material probably from Cerne Abbey. The north wing was added in the late 17th century and the house was extensively altered in the 19th century. <1>

The "Manor House", (name confirmed) is outstanding retaining external features of the 17th century. Correctly shown at 1:2500 on PFD. <4>
