Summary

A public house, formerly the Hankey Arms, originally two cottages thought to have been built around the middle of the eighteenth century. The building has flint walls with brick dressings and a thatched roof. It was damaged by fire in 1979 and rebuilt.

Full Description

Unless otherwise described, the following monuments are of the 18th century and are of two storeys with walls of rubble and cob, and with thatched roofs. … (31) Inn (71430218), formerly two cottages, is single-storied with dormer-windowed attics. Inside is an open fireplace with a massive stop-chamfered bressummer.
