Summary
Outbuildings, 2 parallel stable ranges and a bothy, mid C19. Main stable range by R H Shout of Yeovil, other ranges probably by same architect. For Lord Digby. Coursed rubble walls with ashlar and brick dressings. Gabled and hipped, slate roofs. Some rendered octagonal stacks. Single storey and single storey and attic, irregular fenestration. Main stable range and bothy have stone mullioned windows with straight heads and hoodmoulds. Some case- ments with diamond panes. Plain wooden doors, some under segmental pointed heads. Main stable range has a wooden lantern. Original accommodation of main stable appears to have comprised - 2 loose boxes, a room for an oat crushing machine, a stable with feeding passage, a saddle room with boiler, a double coach house and a malt- store on the ground floor. Above were a loft, a hayloft and 2 bed- rooms.
