Full Description
Water tower built in 1880, octagonal, brick-built, water tower pierced on each facet by a tall narrow arch almost to parapet level. Decorative string courses at base, arch-spring level and parapet top, ornamental keystones to arches and mock machicolated parapet. Octagonal central staircase tower, also of red brick, houses central supply pipe. Round metal water tank superimposed with octagonal cover secured by railings from parapet.
