Description
J C Mansel-Pleydell opened a barrow around 1881 which was described as being situated on the north-west side of Milborne Wood. The barrow was around 10ft high and its lower half was composed of sand and gravel. A crude urn containing a cremation and standing on a Purbeck slab, was probably secondary.
