Description

Terrain Archaeology undertook a watching brief during the construction of a new car park and disabled access ramp for Holy Trinity Church A stone-lined drain was found beneath the present churchyard wall. This is probably 19th century in date. The churchyard wall itself is early 20th century in date. The report on the watching brief also collated the cartographic evidence for the location of the earlier (now destroyed) church and the stages of expansion of the current churchyard.
