Description

Lilian Ladle of Wareham and District Archaeological Society conducted a watching brief during building work at 2 Mill Lane in January 1995. A fragment of medieval pottery was found, along with two post-medieval sherds, clay pipes, shell and iron. A dark humic soil was noted under the ground floor paving slabs. The stripped interior of the building was also observed.
