Description

Archaeological evaluation comprising geophysical survey followed by targeted manually dug trial pits. 69 trial pits were excavated, 12 being targeted on geophysical anomalies. One area of archaeological interest identified via 2 sub-surface features in plot 6. Extent and nature of deposit unclear. 'Almost total lack of finds' elsewhere suggests low archaeological potential.
