Description

Whilst the list of accessioned material in the Dorset N. Hist. and Archae. Soc. Annual Report 2000 gives a date of 1972 for the field walking an account in PDNHAS suggests that Williams made surface finds at a Roman occupation site in the area in 1971. Dorset County Museum archive acc. no.: 2000.20 (not consulted).
