Description
Nature of investigation not presently known to Excavation Index. Williams, in Proc. Dorset Nat. Hist. and Archaeological Soc. 105 (1983) p144, mentions sherds of pottery Bronze Age/Iron Age pottery retrieved from Windsbatch after ploughing (see Monument UID 868674). This ploughing is mentioned, however, as having taken place sporadically since 1961. Dorset County Museum archive acc. no.: 2000.19 (not consulted).NGR used estimated.
