Description

Around 18.7 square kilometres of topsoil were removed and a further 20 charcoal-filled features examined, one of which produced a NE flint blade. There were no other datable subsoil features. Pottery from all periods from the BA onwards was recovered. Two metal detector searches were undertaken, and 588 objects recovered including a RB brooch and AS mount.
