Description

Evaluation of a flood alleviation scheme close to the Domesday settlement of Mouleham by machine trenching produced no evidence of surviving archaeological features. Three trenches were excavated, representing a 2.5% sample of the proposed development area. The putative earthworks proved to be natural.
