Description

Poole Museum undertook an evaluation of an area of land off Hinchcliffe Road, Hamworthy in 1978. Three trenches were excavated. A small number of medieval features, pits, ditches, etc were revealed suggesting medieval occupation, but no trace of Roman occupation was found. (1)
