EDO833 - Weston Road, Worth Matravers; observations and recording 1991

Archaeological observations during building in November 1991 on an infill construction site immediately to the south of Weston Road. The site, which slopes slightly to the south away from the road, had been extensively disturbed, particularly to the north. It was covered by a clay loam soil which contained randomly distributed sherds of pottery from the 13th/14th to the 20th centuries. No structural features were found apart from two apparently recent fence post-holes.
