Description
OASIS: Resistivity survey of Waddon Hill Roman Fort scheduled area. Magnetometry survey of scheduled area and additional surrounding fields within landholding.
Project Results: The project has been a success and the survey has captured details of the Roman Fort that enhances the evidence from Graham Webster's excavations between 1959-69. The fields surrounding the fort have been shown to contain additional archaeological remains; currently undated but possibly pertaining to further Roman or earlier activity.
