Description
Observations and recording during groundworks associated with the construction of a new agricultural building on the east side of Wolfeton Farm, situated just to the south of the medieval settlement earthworks of Wolfeton. No archaeological deposits or features of significance were revealed. The only evidence for activity was associated with post-medieval or modern disturbance at the north end of the site and included a scatter of discarded building stone which was not retained.
