Description

Archaeological monitoring of soil stripping, was undertaken during groundworks relating to the construction of a new agricultural building. Despite the archaeological potential of the surrounding area, no features of archaeological interest were noted during the monitoring. A small quantity of Romano-British and medieval pottery, along with prehistoric worked flint, was recovered from the upper subsoil horizon during the monitoring.
